Didn't see this one coming…
We know it’s been a couple of weeks since our last chapter update.
But now, we have some news.
(And another little sneak peek for you👇)
We can’t wait to show you the full prototype, but we hit another unexpected snag.
It’s with one of the features we were most excited about…
A laser-engraved ruler—so you can roll your dough to the perfect thickness and the perfect length.
Sounds simple, right?
Turns out… not so much.
Our manufacturer (who’s been amazing, by the way) is having trouble engraving the ruler.
“But wait… doesn’t the prototype look fine?”
Yep, it does.
But here’s the catch...
The prototype was engraved using a CNC machine—great for small batches, but not large-scale production.
And so far, every attempt with the engraver hasn't worked.
Even after reaching out to other companies, they’re running into the same issue.
So, what now?
This past week, we’ve been busy contacting other manufacturers to see if they can nail it.
We’re hopeful.
And as soon as we figure it out, you’ll be the first to know.
