Big things are happening...
Our custom packaging is being framed and printed.
And the wood for the Birchberry Adjustable Rolling Pins is being cut, sanded, and engraved.
So, what’s this mean?...
Production is officially underway! 😄
(Here’s a peek inside the packaging so far)
Seeing all of this come together is so exciting.
But there’s still one final piece…
The adjustable thickness rings.
Our plastic manufacturer is in the final testing phase for the new injection mold.
They’re making adjustments so the rings fit onto the screw perfectly.
That should be the last step on their end.
It’s taken them longer than expected.
But that extra time comes down to quality.
We set higher standards than what’s typical.
And we aren’t willing to move forward until everything matches the design exactly.
This rolling pin has easily been the hardest—and longest—project we’ve ever worked on.
But doing it right takes more time than doing it fast.
And we’re almost there!
Once the plastic pieces are finished, we’ll move right into assembly.
Soon, the adjustable rolling pins will be ready!
We’re so excited to see it finally come together.
