We heard a thud.
This was the moment…
The box was at our doorstep.
We tore it open like kids on Christmas morning.
Inside were seven wood samples.
We lined them up on the dining table…
And spent hours inspecting every inch.
From the wood grain…
To the logo depth and finish.
Some felt polished and smooth.
Others… a bit rough.
We’d worked with each manufacturer for weeks.
Sending photos back and forth.
And pointing out small changes.
In pictures, they all looked the same.
But in person…
The quality and care is obvious.
So we’ve narrowed it down to three.
And now the real fine-tuning begins.
We’re testing finishes.
And making adjustments.
Because if this process taught us anything…
It’s that the smallest details make the biggest difference.
